Healthy School Lunches

This Friday’s featured recipe includes a list of healthy back to school lunches for the school children in your life. As schools start to open back up, we know that packing healthy lunches for your loved one is of top priority to you. We have compiled this list of healthy and tasty packable lunch options for you! Hummus pinwheels


  • 1 soft tortilla wrap
  • 1 tablespooon hummus
  • 2 slices Ultra Thin Provolone Sargento Slices
  • 2 slices turkey lunch meat
  • small handful baby spinach

Buffalo Chicken Roll Up


  • 4 ounces garden vegetable cream cheese
  • 4 ounces sour cream
  • 3 ounces blue cheese, divided
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley

PB&J Energy Bites


  • 3/4 c. old fashion oats
  •  c. almonds chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed optional
  • 1/3 c. roughly chopped pitted dates
  • 3 Tbsp. hemp seeds optional
  • ½ c. nut butter peanut or almond are both good
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 3 Tbsp. low sugar fruit preserves

Fruit Kabobs 


  • 12 large raspberries or small strawberries
  • 12 clementine orange segments
  • 12 chunks of pineapple
  • 12 pieces of kiwi cut into shapes if desired
  • 12 large purple grapes
  • 1 cup of vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

Apple Peanut Butter Wrap


  • 2 tortillas, 6 inch
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 medium apple, cut into thin slices
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons granola

Hard Boiled Eggs


  • eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. water
