This Friday’s Featured recipe includes healthy options for your family thanksgiving meal.  (Please note none of these recipes belong to LTC TREE)

Green Bean Casserole

  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • small onion, sliced
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 c. Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, sliced
  • 8 oz. sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. (4 tbsp.) butter
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. skim or 2% milk
  • 1 c. low sodium chicken or vegetable stock
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Bloomin’ Apples


  • Cooking spray
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • apples
  • chewy caramel squares
  • Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Caramel, for drizzling

Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

  • 2 lb. baby potatoes, halved or quartered if large
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. freshly chopped rosemary
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for serving

Pumpkin Dream Bars


  • 2 1/2 c. Gluten Free Honey Nut Cheerios cereal
  • 3 tbsp. sugar or firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • eggs
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • can Pumpkin
  • can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Cauliflower Mac and Cheese


  • medium heads cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 c. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 c. whole milk
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce, such as Cholula
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. mustard powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 c. shredded cheddar
  • 2 c. mozzarella
  • Finely chopped chives, for garnish
